ASEAN to Strengthen Economic Stability

The ASEAN Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting is seeking stronger collaboration between the member countries to maintain economic stability in the region.

Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of the ASEAN block gathered here in Jakarta from Tuesday to Friday this week it is the second meeting after the first one in March this year.

The partnership between Indonesian central bank and finance ministry had fostered trust and cooperation between their counterparts in ASEAN.

At the meeting, finance ministers and central bank governors of ASEAN exchanged updates and insights on each country’s priority economic deliverables.

They are also discussing current issues that become major concern to ASEAN countries.
