Basic aviation youth training: MGY CM gave an opening speech

The opening ceremony of basic aviation youth training course No. (1/2024) jointly organized by the Commander In Chief (Air) and Magway Region Government was held at the meeting hall of the Township collective office in Magway Township at 9 AM on 22nd April and attended by the Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, Commander of West Airbase MaJ-Gen Tun Win, Commander of Magway Airbase Col. Than Naing Nyunt, region Ministers and the Senior officials.Speaking at the ceremony, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin gave words of encouragement for the trainees of youth aviation training course.

Next, the Commander of West Airbase MaJ-Gen Tun Win gave a speech on the objectives of opening the training course and then Chief Minister U Tint Lwin provided cash assistance to the Commander of Magway Airbase Col. Than Naing Nyunt for the training.

After that, the Chief Minister and officials viewed the training aid materials, exhibited historic photos of aviation sector and took a documentary group photo together with the trainees.During the training, the aviation history, basic principles of flight, basic concept of structure and construction of aircraft and its engine and components, fundamentals for construction of aircraft miniature, maneuvering RC Simulator, RC aircraft / Helicopter/Drone, basic military training (without weapon) courses will be lectured and a total of 50 trainees including 24 males and 26 female trainees is attending the course and the training course will take for 5 weeks, it’s reported.
