China sees stable economic recovery in April

China's economy maintained stable recovery last month and is likely to keep the positive momentum in the following months, the National Bureau of Statistics announced at a press briefing on Monday morning. As the first country to achieve positive economic growth after the pandemic, China continues to see its economy recover steadily, Fu Linghui, a National Bureau of Statistics spokesperson said.

And China is positive that the recovery will continue, despite the ongoing pandemic in other parts of the world bringing new challenges. Fu also touched on the topic of carbon emissions, saying that China is faced with great pressure during the transition of its economy structure.
