COVID-19 Impact: Committee Meets To Address National Economy

The meeting of Working Committee to address the impact of COVID-19 on the national economy (1/2022) was virtually held on Monday afternoon.

The meeting at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations was chaired by Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Aung Naing Oo.

Members of the Working Committee; Deputy Minister for Commerce, Deputy Governor from the Central Bank of Myanmar and Permanent Secretaries and representatives from the Ministries concerned attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed the situation on providing loans under COVID-19 Fund including the support for fishery and livestock sector, selection process for provision of loans for the Film, Music, Theatrical, Press and Media, facilitation procedure and the works done by the working committee.

The meeting also discussed relief measures carried out by concerned ministries and future plan of the committee.
