COVID-19 Prevention: Shan State’s Committee Holds 17th Meeting

Shan State COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee held the 17th meeting of this year.

In this meeting at the Shan State Government Office in Taunggyi, Chairman of the Committee Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun stressed Stay-at-Home Programme and COVID-19 infection rate in the State as well as importance of adherence to the disease prevention guidelines and vaccination programme.

Attendees discussed the COVID-19 vaccination programme in the State. It’s reported that in Shan State, except Tachileik, 10 townships were removed from the Stay-at-Home List and the COVID-19 infection rate is 3 percent.
