Education Sector: Private Teacher Training Course in Mon State

Opening Ceremony of Private Teacher Training Certificate Course (Primary and Secondary level) 2024-2025 Academic Year was held at the Mawlamyine Education Degree College on Friday with the presence of Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein.

At the ceremony, the Chief Minister said that in education sector, the number of basic education schools and private schools is on the increase. This course is designed to produce qualified teachers from and for private schools after joining the Education degree college.

He urged the teachers to try in order to become highly qualified teachers after completing the course by applying the knowledge gained from the course and to nurture the students to become the good citizens.Then, Principle of the Mawlamyine Education Degree College made a clarification regarding the training course. The course runs from the 23rd of April to the 8thof May with 16 subjects for 86 trainees.
