Efforts for Development: CM inspects regional development works in Kawthoung

Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko inspected regional development works in Kawthoung District.

First, the Chief Minister inspected the drinking water production and distribution project site for Kawthoung Township at the 14 Mile Village and heard report.

In his response, he called for efforts to implement projects as soon as possible as drinking water scarcity in Kawthoung often occur in the summer.

And, the Chief Minister inspected construction of the main water supply pipeline along the Bokpyin-Kawthoung Road.

The Chief Minister also visited the site at the Myoma Jetty in Kawthoung Township where a border entry/exit gate with an arch will be constructed and heard report.

He called on concerned officials to construct the arch with Myanmar traditional design before inspecting the site and jetty.
