Efforts for MSME development: SAC Chairman meets with entrepreneurs in Pindaya

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Tuesday afternoon met with MSME entrepreneurs from the Danu Self-Administered Zone.

During this meeting in Pindaya Township, the Senior General heard report on matters including training opening for MSME development, loans disbursement from the State Economic Promotion Fund to agriculture and livestock sector and to MSME, manufacturing by MSME enterprises and condition of sale in local and abroad, construction of production roads, electrification, plans for MSME development, the required technology, equipment and investment capital and the need to make the transportation smooth in the region and to provide enough drinking water as well as provision of necessary equipment and  funds for the development of local businesses and the development of socio-economic life.

In his response, the Senior General stressed that the promotion of agricultural products in MSME manufacturing activities is due to the fact that agricultural activities can be successfully carried out and raw materials are available for manufacturing.

There is a need for an abundance of local educators in order to obtain the abundant human resources needed for agriculture. The main requirement is that all residents of the region should work and enjoy the benefits of their work. The Senior General also urged all to work together for regional development and stability. After the meeting, the Senior General viewed around the booths displaying the MSME products.
