Fire destroys historic Copenhagen building

A massive fire engulfed a historic building in the center of Copenhagen, Denmark on Tuesday.
Danish media quoted an official with Copenhagen’s emergency service said that the fire at the Børsen (exchange) had completely destroyed the building’s spire and that it was a matter of moments before the spire would collapse.
The 400-year-old building is undergoing construction and has scaffolding erected around it. It currently serves as an office space for the Danish Chamber of Commerce.
