Guatemalan Indigenous perform 'flying pole' dance tradition

Indigenous people celebrates the event of flying pole dance with their colorful traditional costumes and it is called  “dance in the air” from the top of a 30-meter-high log in the Guatemalan city of Chichicastenango. This traditional danceaims to honors their Catholic patron saint and the arrival of the winter solstice. The celebration takesplace around the fest of Saint Tomas from 13th to 21st December.
