Lauryn Hill, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Jungkook drew tens of thousands of fans to Central Park during the Global Citizen festival in New York on Saturday, despite torrential rains, as part of a marathon concert urging global development aid.

Majestic rap icon Lauryn Hill took the stage to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her groundbreaking album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill."   The legendary hip-hop trio delighted the crowd by performing songs like 'Killing Me Softly' and 'Ready or Not. Wyclef Jean, a member, stated that Africa needs to control its own natural resources and Haiti needs to do the same.

He also emphasized the importance of the world coming together to address famine. Brazil’s biggest pop star called attention to the importance of protecting the Amazon rainforest, reminding fans it is “the lungs of our planet”.
