Opening Office Building: Mon State CM attended opening of new office building

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein attended the opening ceremony of new two-storey building of Mon State office of Auditor General held at the office in Mawlamyaing Township in the morning on May 9.

At the ceremony, the Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein gave an opening speech. After handing over the documents regarding with the new office building by the responsible person of the construction company to the Director of the State office of Auditor General, the Chief Minister and State Minister opened the new office building by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.

Next, the Chief Minister looked round the new two-storey building of Mon State office of Auditor General. After that, the Chief Minister and party attended the ceremony of closing uninterrupted recitation of PathanaDhammadiscouses organized by the Mon State Government.

At the ceremony, the congregation observed five precepts, took the ParittaSuttas recited by the members of Sangha, offered the offertories and shared the merits gained. Later, the Chief Minister and party paid homage to the presiding Sayadaw of Sein Ma MaPaliTakkatho who is undertaking medical treatment at Ngwe Moe hospital, offerred offertories and fulfilled requirements for the healthcare.

After that, the Chief Minister attended the fourth meeting of Mon State Coastal Resources Management Committee and gave a remark, coordinated requirements, it’s reported.
