Saudi asks Iran for answers about nuclear activity

A top Saudi Arabia official said on Monday that Iran must provide full answers about its nuclear activity in undisclosed sites. Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman was speaking at the International Atomic Energy Agency annual conference in Vienna.

He said that there is a "need to tackle with seriousness the Iranian nuclear activity which threatens peace and stability in the region and in the world." Iran long has maintained its program is peaceful. The Saudi energy minister added that the international community should come together to "thwart all attempts to use nuclear technology in non-peaceful or unsafe ways.
