State funeral for former Angola leader Dos Santos

A state funeral was held on Sunday for Angola's former president Jose Eduardo dos Santos in the nation's capital, Luanda. The 79-year-old died at a clinic in Barcelona, Spain, where he was being treated following a long illness.

His successor, President João Lourenço declared five days of mourning in the week of his death. His funeral was held a few days after national elections. Portugal's President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa was among the leaders who attended the funeral on Sunday.
