Hong Kong Thai community is finally celebrating Songkran this week in Kowloon; their celebration was delayed due to the pandemic.

Hong Kong Thai community could not host Songkran for two years due to Hong Kong government's strict COVID-19 restrictions.

This year they have rented various spaces at a shopping mall to continue this ritual. Other than hosting the Naga Fortune Ritual, the Thai community set up booths at a shopping mall to sell Thai products.

The splash party is one of the highlight of the event, a chance for Hong Kongers who were unable to travel to experience the fun of Songkran.

Pets are also welcomed to join the splash party on the shopping mall's rooftop, many pet owners unleashed their beloved dogs to play in small pools.
