Waso Robe offering :MoRAC Union Minister offered Waso Robe

The 18th Waso Robe Offering Ceremony of the Ministry of Religius Affairs and Culture was held at the assembly hall of the Ministry, Nay Pyi Taw at 9:30 Am on Monday and attended by 9 members of Sangha led by Baddanta Vicakkhana, member of State Sangha Mahanayaka Committee, presiding Sayadaw of Aung Si Thar Pariyatti Sarthintaik in Pubbathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin and wife, Deputy Minister and Senior officials.

At the ceremony, the congregation observed five precepts administered by Baddanta Vicakkhana, member of State Sangha Mahanayaka Committee, presiding Sayadaw of Aung Si Thar Pariyatti Sarthintaik and took the Paritta Suttas recited by the members of Sangha.

Next, the Union Minister and wife and the attendees offered Waso Robe and offertories to the members of Sangha, took the sermon delivered by the Chairman Sayadaw of Nay Pyi Taw Region Presiding Sayadaw of Sukhavihara Thayetkone monastery in Pyinmana Township, shared the mertis gained and the ceremony was concluded.
