World's Largest Specially-Shaped Bridge Completed Swiveling Construction in Shanghai

World's only super-sized, three-dimensional asymmetric swivel bridge of Caobao Road Expressway has completed swiveling construction in Shanghai. 

The success of this challenge set a number of world records. The 15,800-ton T-structure steel girder was rotated in the air like a toy under the guidance of the builder, and it was precisely docked in place. Including the Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway which is in operation, the four railway lines and seven railway tracks are close to the starting point, and are finally spanned by steel girders. 

The bridge constructionis a major project in Shanghai.  The entire project is expected to be completed and open to traffic by the end of 2026.
