Yellow line conductor rail collapses

An electrical conductor rail of the elevated Yellow Line monorail system fell off the track between the Kalantan Station and the Suan Luang Rama IX Station in Bangkok’s Prawet district on Thursday, leading to the suspension of the train service until midnight for inspection and repair to ensure safety.

Passengers have been evacuated from the train safely. The incident caused damage to three vehicles, with no reported injuries. The Bangkok Mass Transit Authority has coordinated to provide alternative bus services along the Yellow Line route. The service provider Eastern Bangkok Monorail Company Limited is responsible for compensation and damages.
