Myanmar-Cambodia: SAC Chairman held talk with Cambodia Senate President

The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held a talk with the President of the Senate of Cambodia Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN through Video Conferencing in the morning on 7th of May.

After exchanging words of greeting by the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and President of the Senate of Cambodia, the matters of well bilateral relation, Cambodia’s assistance for Myanmar during the COVID-19 pandemic and aftermath of Cyclone Mocha, Myanmar’s positive engagement in ASEAN, ongoing implementation of five point-roadmap by the State Administration Council, keeping stance and determination on the implementation of five point-roadmap, carrying out the necessary preparations including enumeration of population and household census and other requirements for holding free and fair multi-party democracy General election, preparation for the election in accordance with the constitution (2008), Cambodia’s activities in ASEAN regarding with Myanmar and the will to share the experience of election in Cambodia were cordially discussed.

Along with the SAC Chairman Prime Minister, Council Joint-secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and officials also attended the meeting.
