Rescue efforts continue after S. Africa deadly building collapse

A multi-story building under construction has collapsed in South Africa, leaving five workers dead and dozens trapped under the rubble. The incident occurred in the South African city of George on Monday. Many of the 75 construction workers were caught in the collapse.

Local authorities said 22 of them have been rescued and transferred to hospitals. Rescue work continues for the remaining workers who are believed to be trapped under the rubble. City officials and police plan to launch an investigation into the cause while continuing rescue work.
