Thingyan Festival: Joyful celebrations at PyinOoLwin Station

On the Atat day of Myanmar Traditional Thingyan of 1385 Myanmar Era, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of Chairman of the State Administration Council, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by senior military officers from the Office of Commander in Chief (Army) and their wives encouraged the military personnel, their families and cadets who are joyously participated in water splashing activities in Pyin Oo Lwin station Thingyan pavilions.
Upon the arrival at the Defense Services Technological Academy’s Thingyan pavillion, the wife of Senior General and party enjoyed the performances of Yein dance troupes, cadets and vocalists, together with military personnel and their families.
The wife of the Senior General and party splashed water to the military personnel, who were happily celebrating the water throwing festival, followed by the cash rewards presentation to the performers. They then proceeded to the “KharTawMhe” water pavilion, “Nan Cherry” water pavillion of Pyin Oo Lwin Station, “Cherry ArMarn HnitOo Thingyan” water pavilion of Defense Services Academy and water pavilions of Pyin Oo Lwin Station.
During the visit, they witnessed the dances and songs of Yein dance troupes, military personnel, cadets and vocalists, splashed water and presented cash of honor to those who participated in performing activities.
