Dinner Reception: Performers of the Dramatic Play honoured

A dinner reception to honour the artistes who participated in the play “The Prestige Nobler than the Life” was held at Yangon Region Government Office on 14th January.

Chief Minister U Soe Thein made a speech, praising the artistic performance of the play, based on true story of Myanma history. He later presented the honorary gifts to the artistes. Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U KoKo spoke words of thanks, saying that the ministry is carrying out for safeguarding the cultural heritage of the country.

He added that the ministry will keep on making efforts for performing the dramatic play based on the history. The Union Minister and party later enjoyed the performance by the students and vocalists, and presented honorary cash.
