Entertainments for outstanding youth: MOI and MoE UMs attended the event

Ministry of Information screened the video clips of “Preventing the risk of media poisoning” and “the role of media in nation-building tasks” for the outstanding students at MICC-II in the evening on 25th April.

Then, Union Minister for Information and Deputy Minister conducted a lucky draw program for the students and provided (30) sets of MRTV DTH receivers and 150 units of DVB T2 Set Top Box to the lucky draw winners.

On 26th of April, a concert to honor the outstanding students for 2023-2024 Academic year was held at Myanmar International Convention Centre-II (MICC-II) in Nay Pyi Taw with the presence of Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and Union Minister for Eduction Dr Nyunt Pe.

At the event, artists from Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) and Myawaddy Music troupe entertained with various songs including modern and patriotic songs, and dances as well as famous comedian Dane Daung and group staged the performances.

Outstanding students from Region/State, maritime and aviation trainees, scouts, members of the red cross society, and students from basic education schools enjoyed and participated in the performances together with the artistes.  The event was successfully concluded after singing and dancing by the students and artists.
