Inspection of destroyed villages: Mon State CM inspected Dhammatha Village

For the residents of the Villages destroyed during the attacks of terrorist insurgents as of 28th March in the Dhammatha Village and neighboring villages in Kyaikmayaw Township of Mon State, the Mon State Government together with the local residents are carried out for the residents to be able to return their homes and the rehabilitation works as fast as possible.
Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein together with the State Ministers and officials visited Dhammatha Kyaung Haung monastery in Dhammatha Village and met with the displaced people from their native villages under the recent situations and gave words of encouragement.
In his words of encouragement, the Chief Minister said that as the peace and stability has been restored in Dhammatha Village and neighboring Villages, the Village residents now can return the home, under the situation of prevailing peace and stability, the socio-economic status of the people can develop, the State Government will provide necessary assistance for the residents when they encounter the requirements and difficulties, this tour is taken to fulfill requirements.
Next, a local resident on behalf of the displaced people submitted for living under the situation of prevailing peace and stability and rehabilitation works for the houses and buildings destroyed and the Chief Minister fulfilled requirements.
Consequently, the State Ministers and officials comforted and the Chief Minister and Ministers provided rice, edible oil, salt, instant noodle, canned fish, cash assistance for the house construction materials and 16 relief items and the Village residents accepted.
Then, the Chief Minister inspected the destroyed houses and buildings, met with the responsible persons and coordinated requirements for the Village residents to be able to resettle in their homes and healthcare for them.
