Inspection of training: MoC UM inspected training course in Yangon

The Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn gave a remark at the opening ceremony of basic training course on the international trade held at the fifth floor of the office of Yangon Region staff officer at the corner of Strand Road and Shwebontha Road in Yangon in the morning on Saturday.
In his remark, the Union Minister said that such training is implemented the first objective out of three ones “to implement the multi-education system inclusive of all so as to enhance education and the intellectual level of the entire people and turn out a large number of skilled technicians contributing to the manufacturing sector in order to turn out educated persons”.
This training course aims at the entrepreneurs from private sector to understand the international trade procedures and to be able to communicate with other countries, having commercial knowledge, turning out import/export entrepreneurs and new commercial entrepreneurs which are crucial for the economic development of the country and the development of commercial human resources.
For the development of oversea trade, the Union Government, private associations including UMFCCI, entrepreneurs and relevant ministries are collaborating harmoniously.The training course will be attended by 98 trainees and the training period will last for 8 weeks.
Next, the Union Minister met with the personnel from the Department of Trade, Department of Consumers Affairs, Department of Intellectual Properties, Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization and gave necessary instructions at the office of Yangon Region staff officer.
In the afternoon, the Union Minister visited Yuzana Edible Oil Refinery Plant in Thaketa Township, heard the clarifications of the responsible persons, inspected edible oil refining, packaging and distributing processes and gave necessary instructions.
