Regional Development: Chief Minister inspects regional development in Lashio

Shan State Chief Minister Dr Kyaw Tun together with officials inspected the tasks being undertaken by the Clean and Green fund of Shan State Government for 2022-2023 fiscal year in Lashio, Shan State (North), installation of underground cables, making the base of lamp posts and measures for water channels on Theinni road on 15th January.

During the inspection, the State Chief Minister gave necessary instructions and looked into tar paving being undertaken by Lashio Township Development Committee for 2022-2023 fiscal year.

On arrival at 500-bed People’s Hospital in Lashio, the State Chief Minister and officials presented aids to the staff and called for sanitation, cleaning and beautifying of the hospital and expressed thanks to the health staff for health care services.

The State Chief Minister and official presented cash assistance provided Shan State Government, eggs and instant noodles to the Medical Superintendent for the staff in Lashio People’s Hospital.

The State Chief Minister, the State Secretary and officials attended golden umbrella hoisting ceremony and merit sharing ceremony of Aye Chan Kabar Aung Pagoda at the Buddhist Missionary Parami Monastery in Lashio.

After listening the religious sermons administered by Parami monastery sayadaw, the Chief Minister and well-wishers offered pennant-shaped vane and golden umbrella to the sanghas. 

The State Chief Minister then donated offertories and cash to the Sayadaw and shared merits. The Chief Minister, officials and well-wishers conveyed diamond bud, pennant-shaped vane and golden umbrella by visiting around the pagoda.

At the auspicious time, the Sayadaw, the State Chief Minister and well-wishers hoisted religious objects atop the pagoda.
